Opening notes

Catalyst is online. A note on what it covers, when posts arrive, and how to follow.

Catalyst is the writing side of Solarware, opened today as scaffolding for posts that haven’t been written yet. The first ones arrive over the coming months.

The shape will be longer pieces, fewer of them. Topics start with the obviously relevant: embedded engineering, hardware design, the day-to-day of building circuits that have to actually work. They extend from there into adjacent science (physics, materials, signal theory) and into whatever else turns out to be interesting enough to write up properly. Decisions, with the post-mortems that follow them.

There is no schedule. Posts go up when they’re ready, not before. Each one earns its place or it doesn’t appear at all.

If you want to know when the next one lands, the RSS feed is where to listen.
